Push-Pull Modifikation

Bei einer Push-Pull Ausgangsstufe werden die Anoden-Widerstände durch Push-Pull Module ersetzt. Im Gegensatz zu einem CCS-Modul, welches einen konstanten Strom, unabhängig von Last und Aussteuerung zur Verfügung stellt, kann die Push-Pull Schaltung einen bei Bedarf praktisch unbegrenzten Strom zur Verfügung stellen. Ein am Ausgang auftretender Fehler kann somit sehr viel schneller und effektiver korrigiert werden. Das hat eine erhebliche Auswirkung auf den Klang. Die Auflösung wird sehr viel feiner und detailreicher, der Bass wird kräftiger und bekommt mehr Struktur, ausserdem erhöht sich die maximale Ausgangspannung um 60-70V. Ein weiterer Vorteil der Push-Pull Schaltung: Dadurch daß der Ausgang jetzt aus den Vollen schöpfen kann, kann auch der Ruhestrom reduziert werden. Die Leistungsaufnahme wird geringer, die Röhren werden deutlich entlastet.

Also the output voltage increases 60-70 Volt. Another advantage of the push-pull circuit: Because the output can now draw on its full potential, the quiescent current can also be reduced.The power consumption is lower and the strain on the tubes is significantly reduced.
